“The lights on this one change color. Let’s get it,” Daughter#2 said.
We were standing in the giant electronics store in front of giant bank of car stereo receivers.
Each and every receiver looked exactly the same and totally different at the same time. They were each flashing bright lights. Some were red. Some were blue. Some changed colors periodically. I wondered how many seizures this display had triggered.
La Crosse Makes Me La Stupid

Son#2 took up La Crosse this year, and we’ve all been confused ever since.
We’re a big sports family. We follow the pros and college teams for a variety of sports. We love to go to games, and argue over brackets. We all have our favorite teams, and have a great time harassing each other about who’s favorite is doing the best.

This week I’ll be all Planes-Trains-and-Automobiles’d-out. It’s an all travel week for me, so I’ll be using all of those (subways count as trains, right? What about cable cars?).
Planning to be somewhere different nearly every day for a week, requires me to do some major planning and reallocation of resources.

(Note: My latest weird trend is my feet are shrinking or my shoes are growing. Either way, all of my shoes are a bit loose suddenly.
