Patience
Divine power
Marvel
Essence of The Creator
Flowing into us
Miraculous change
Precious and rare
Painful to birth
Beautiful to hold
Problems dissolve
Tragedies endured
Strengthened in battle
Growing through pain
Bringing peace
Resolve
Strength
Sharpened vision
Beauty discovered
Doors opened
Hearts changed
True smiles
Rare treasure
Ours to use
To call upon
To grow

It amazes me how much peace and happiness is triggered simply by being patient. Still, I don’t call upon my patience nearly enough. What’s helping you develop patience? Shoot me a comment. I’m looking forward to hearing about it.

I love this part. It’s the turning point that begins to demonstrate to us just how empowering patience can be.
How do I do better with patience? I try to remember the example I’m setting for my girls. I can’t expect them to be grace under pressure when they have copious examples of their dad losing his stuff when the heat is on.
If I want to be the cool daddy, I can’t get so hot under the collar.
Excellent stuff here, Gina!

Thank you so much for the compliment! I’m so glad you related to my poem.
I agree with you about trying to set an example for our children. I think that has been the biggest push I have received to grow my patience. They are always watching. I know my actions speak more loudly to them than my words do.
