I was thinking about bleak the tragedy in Newton, Connecticut when I wrote the verse The Sun Will Rise.

My First We Mourn, and Seriously Today – Prayers And Tears posts are both tributes to the Connecticut victims and their families.

Random acts of kindness for my birthday,  suspicious kitchen crumbs, children working together to help me lose my mind, the laws of physics not being obeyed, and standing in the rain with penguins all gave me laugh material this week.  I hope they gave you some giggles, too.
