Hope Rewarded
Hope
In the rain and the rainbow
Singing and sleeping
The dew and the grass
In the twinkling of stars
Laughter of children
The smile of age
In the leaves of the trees
Sunshine
The coming dawn
In the music of springtime
Aroma of sweetness
The hidden blush of the bloom
In the beat of a heart
Breath of a hero
The eyes of love

The rain this week has reminded me about how easy it is to lose sight of the sun, of the light of our life; how easy it is to forget why we run and walk and write and love and laugh and strive and serve.
But, it’s also reminded me that the sun is always there even when it is hidden by the clouds, that eventually the clouds part and the light is bright again.
And, isn’t that what hope is after all? Holding fast to faith that the clouds have hidden the sun, not extinguished it?
Is there any time more beautiful than the morning after the rain, when the sun shines brightly through the clean crisp air?
Hope rewarded.
Blessings to you!
Love,
gina
Are you feeling the sun shining through this week? Shoot me a comment. I’m looking forward to hearing all about it.

I love this. Your prose and your thoughts have an idea for a new post. THAT is always a good thing.
